Description
Portrait Sculpture 2
A Measured Approach
What you will learn:
By using a series of direct measurements you will discover how the complex form of the human head can be made in clay. The ‘likeness’ of the sitter will accrue from the accuracy of your working process and you discover how the concept of a human face can be about three dimensional form.
The casting and finishing of your clay sculpture using the ‘waste mould’ technique will provide you with a permanent version of your work.
Who this course is for:
Some experience of making sculpture would be useful but you should not feel intimidated by being a ‘beginner’.
What’s included:
All materials will be provided although you will need to have your own set of wooden clay modelling tools.
