Drawing – Imaginative Figurative Compositions

Tutor: Carl Randall

An exciting and varied course exploring the process behind making original figurative compositions, useful to both painting and drawing students. Visualising images that are in your imagination is difficult to do and so we will look at various techniques that may be used to create and develop your pictorial designs. By examining composition and design in other artist’s work and using a variety of approaches and tools, you will be helped to understand the journey artists make in order to transform ideas into imaginative pictures. This course, for up to six students, will include demonstrations and discussion of set project work.

Consists of 10 sessions each lasting 90 minutes via Zoom.
Wednesday evenings 10am -11.30am
