Build or enhance your oil painting skills with our Still Life Painting in Oils course, open to beginners as well as experienced artists. This hands-on oil painting class explores both traditional techniques and contemporary approaches to still life, helping you deepen your understanding of design, lighting, color, and form. Still life also makes for the best introduction to oil painting.

Through practical, studio-based sessions, you’ll gain greater confidence and creative control over the painting process. With personalized guidance and ongoing support from an experienced tutor, you’ll learn about materials, putting together a still life arrangement, rules of composition (and how to break them) as well as developing your technical abilities in your own artistic style. This course provides the structured yet flexible learning environment you need in a very spacious and quiet studio where you can work at your own pace.

No previous experience with oil painting is required. Students are required to bring their own materials and should refer to the materials list below before their course starts. (#SA33)
