Imaginative Figurative Composition for Painting and Drawing

This drawing and painting course explores different approaches to creating compositions with portraits and figures and way these subjects can be placed in a space or environment.

You will gain experience of researching and developing ideas for compositions and an understanding of how imaginative figurative compositions can be made.

There will be illustrated presentations to explore the way artists have developed their work and we will use techniques such as collage and thumbnail sketches to initate your creative thought.
