Ceramic Sculpture

Tutor: Emilia Radlinska | Thursdays 10am-4pm | 12 weeks

This hands-on ceramic sculpture course offers a comprehensive introduction to contemporary sculptural techniques in clay. You’ll learn core handbuilding methods – including pinch pots, coiling, slab construction and working with moulds – while gaining confidence with glazing, oxides and slips.

Throughout the course, you’ll be introduced to a range of clays fired to stoneware temperatures, and supported in developing your own creative projects. Sketchbook work and visual research are encouraged as a source of inspiration and personal development. Teaching is delivered through demonstrations, group discussion and one-to-one tuition.

Suitable for all levels of experience. A wide selection of materials is provided, but please see the materials list below for any additional items you may need to bring.
