12 Wednesdays

This course will help you develop and nurture your own independent studio practice. It explores how to generate ideas, how using secondary source materials such as drawing and photography can facilitate this. Weekly projects will focus on drawing towards painting, keeping a sketchbook, colour theory and experimentation and how the selection and use of materials can influence your work.
