Description

The Figure in Costume – An oil painting course

We will explore the visual connection between the human figure and the clothes they are wearing.

There will be an emphasis on the colour relationships with clothes and human skin and this will help you improve your ability to understand the use of colour in an oil painting.

The course will be divided into two six weeks sessions with the same model in the same pose and you will begin with drawings and colour studies to establish your composition.

The course is suitable for all levels of ability.
