Please see home page for important changes to Spring Term dates
The Heatherley School of Fine Art Open Studio is based on the traditional French Atelier system. It gives artists open access to a studio in which they are able to work from a model with the assistance of a tutor.
The Open Studio has been part of our provision for artists since we were founded in 1845
The Open Studio offers a flexible opportunity for drawing and painting from the model on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during term time.
We welcome both the beginner and more established artists. You may join at any time of the year and choose your own pattern of attendance through our online booking system. Academic Year 2019-20 tickets are no longer valid. Please contact the office for a refund.
In order to gain access into the Open Studio please book online before attending. We are unable to offer a drop-in ticket system due to social distancing.
2019-20 tickets are no longer valid. If you would like to request a refund for a 2019-20 card please post it to the school office with your contact details or email a photo of it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Open Studio sessions are currently suspended while we are closed during Lockdown 3.
