Description

How to Draw

This creative drawing course will introduce you to some of the important objective and creative aspects of drawing.

Artists have used drawing to explore ideas and to record imagery for thousands of years and we will be looking at and working from some key works of art.

If you have some experience of drawing this course will help you to reinforce your understanding of the principles of perspective and composition. You will also experiment with mixed media to develop your creative potential.

Projects will be based on still life and the human figure.

This is an excellent class for students of any levels; Tony is a first rate teacher exploring various techniques which help build an understanding of perspective, scale, composition and how to take different approaches to making a picture. Lessons are carefully explained, varied and fun. Even an experienced artist will find fresh ideas and be able to consolidate their technique. For beginners, you could not find a more patient and encouraging tutor.
