Paper clay is an amazing material to work with. Mixing paper fibres with a clay body enables you to create complex structures and sculpt with it at any stage. Wet, leather hard and even bisque fired. As an introduction to the possibilities of this technique you will have the opportunity to create paper-thin fragments using texture and cast from leaves, seedpods and other organic materials. You will also explore methods of sculpting and hand building using this very versatile material.
