Heatherley Print Exhibition at Brompton Cemetery

Hilary Daltry and the Printmaking Department have produced a series of prints inspired by Brompton Cemetery and are delighted to have been invited by the Friends of Brompton Cemetery to exhibit their work in the Chapel on their Open Day July 20th, 11am - 5pm.
Hilary says ’Brompton Cemetery was founded in 1840 and is one of the finest cemeteries in London. Crammed full of tombs of the famous it includes the only known funery work by Sir Edward Burne-Jones (who was himself a student of Heatherleys). Designed as an open-air basilica this garden cemetery with it’s fascinating history and abundance of wildlife has provided a rich source of inspiration for our students who have produced some fantastic work.’
