Heatherleys at the V&A Inspired By Awards

Hilary Daltry:

Inspired By is a competition for people in adult education inspired by exhibits from the V&A museum and selected by curators from the V&A museum.

Our students’ work was selected for the exhibition from over 300 entries.

Congratulations go to Rebecca Hathaway, prizewinner of the Drawing & Painting Prize for ’I want to get dressed and go out’, and to Nicola Atchley who won the Printmaking Prize selected by V&A curator Gill Saunders for her artist book inspired by Richard Long

Frederike von Cranach (’The Mouse in the Museum’ print and sewing) and John Buck (’The Martyrdom of St Ursula’ paper collage) were also included in the exhibition. ’
