Summer holiday courses 2018

Heatherley’s has been running successful holiday courses for many years, attracting students from all over the world. We continue to emphasise the importance of drawing as an essential foundation for the development of ideas encouraging students to explore both traditional and contemporary approaches to visual imagery. In 2018 our programme will range from ceramic sculpture, portrait painting, figurative sculpture, life drawing, watercolour and oils, to wood-engraving and printmaking.

We offer a professional yet friendly working environment and our aim is to provide you with both helpful criticism and personal attention. The tuition is matched to your individual needs and experience and therefore we are happy to welcome applicants of all abilities. We have a high tutor to student ratio to ensure you receive an excellent level of individual attention.

Each course has a defined set of aims and objectives and by selecting a range of courses you will be able to create a useful portfolio of work. This folio may form the foundation of future vocational study.

Heatherley’s studios have excellent north east light and have been purpose built to an exacting specification. The school is situated in the west of Chelsea close to the River Thames and Chelsea Harbour, with London’s museums, galleries and theatres within easy access.

All classes are daily from 10.00am - 4.00pm with a lunchbreak between 12.30 - 1.30pm. Materials are not included unless specified. Please click on course details below for further information and to see who is teaching.
